The layer order can be changed or layers can be moved in and out of a group in the layer stack by simply holding them and dragging and dropping. You can group layers and organize the elements of your artwork. I don’t remember ever changing the setting. I checked the settings: Settings>Configure Krita> Display> Grid Settings Tab What I found is that both squares were set to white. 1 So I’m working on one layer and I notice when I erase something it erased to a white background instead of the checkered background.I found a wallpaper from what I needed but unfortunately the background is white.
